SENEGAL

Senegal is a country in West Africa, bordered by Mali to the east, Guinea to the southeast, and Guinea-Bissau to the southwest. Senegal also borders The Gambia, a country occupying a narrow sliver of land along the banks of the Gambia River, which separates Senegal's southern region of Casamance from the rest of the country. Senegal was a french territory until its independence in 1960 and official language is still french. Dakar is the capital city and Goree island the more famous destination. The Petite Côte (Little Coast) is a stretch of coast running south from the Cap-Vert peninsula, when Grande Côte (Large Coast) is running to north.
All forms of tourism can be experienced in Senegal seaside resorts (leisure, aquatic sports, scuba diving, horseback riding, discovery and more), cultural tourism, bird watching, ecotourism, historic museums, gorgeous natural sites, six major game parks and reseves, diversified fauna and flora to name a few.
