​QATAR - Doha

Qatar is a sovereign country since 1971, located in Southwest Asia, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula (11,500 sq. km) on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It has 563 km of uninterrupted coastline. The country’s population stands at 2.4 million and its capital city is Doha.

Doha is the capital city and most populous city of the State of Qatar with a population of 1 million within the city proper, representing 40% of the nation's population. The city is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country. It is Qatar's fastest growing city, it is also the economic center of the country.
