OMAN - Desert Experience
Rustaq - Wadi Sahtan
Rustaq was once the capital of Oman, during the era of Imam Nasir bin Murshid al Ya'arubi. Rustaq fort, built four centuries prior to the dawn of Islam in Oman, is an imposing structure containing separate houses, a mosque and four towers.
Around Rustaq, you can access Wadi Al Madeen or Wadi Al Sahtan. You can also drive to Jebel Al Akhdar (2000 mts above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula.
