ESTONIA and TALLINN​

​​The Baltic countries (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania) has been dominated by german and russian in the past, and they have regained their independence in 1991, have continued in their history to forge a strong national consciousness, like the northern states of Europe. Tallinn is a city where you can breathe in the magical air of the Middle Ages, in the modern era. The history of the old neighborhoods of the city dates back as far as the time period between the 13th and 16th centuries. The historical city of Tallinn, the large part of which was constructed in that time period, was a part of the Hanseatic League which was the commercial organization at the time. UNESCO has added this authentic area to its list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.
