Half Moon Island
Half Moon is a crescent shaped island (around 2 kilometers long) and is home of a large rookery of chinstrap penguins as well as nesting Antarctic terns and gulls. The Argentinean naval base Tenientee Camaraais is occupied only in the summer months.
